The main refinery of Avgas for Canada is in Edmonton and it has been closed for more than two weeks. It is unclear when it will fully reopen.

Imperial Oil is warning regulators and customers that aviation gasoline, also known as "avgas," shipped from its Edmonton-area refinery could cause interference with aircraft fuel gauge sensors.
