Dr. Amy Tan has worked as a physician in Alberta for 16 years. She had planned to keep working in the province for many more, but said her plans changed when a bitter dispute began between the United Conservative government and the province's doctors.

Alberta's health minister says he hasn't given up on resolving a bitter dispute with the province's doctors that developed after he tore up their master pay agreement.

Health Minister Tyler Shandro has been involved in an escalating dispute with doctors since he tore up a master agreement with the Alberta Medical Association.
