A new hearing will be held after the Maryland appeals court ruled the family of Hae Min Lee was not given enough time to attend the hearing last year that led to Syed's release.

Adnan Syed served more than 20 years in prison for the strangling of Hae Min Lee, who was 18 at the time. In 1999, her body was found buried in a Baltimore park.
