MP Aaron Gunn said he won't run for the leadership of the Conservative Party of B.C. because he doesn't want to risk giving the federal Liberals a majority government.

Party officials say Aaron Gunn's application was rejected on grounds that approving his candidacy would be inconsistent with several Liberal party commitments.
