March 14: The owners of a popular bakery in Airdrie are cleaning up, after their business was broken into and vandalized overnight. Carolyn Kury de Castillo reports.

After two consecutive acts of vandalism on Airdrie’s rainbow walkway, many in the community were in disbelief. Someone spray-painted homophobic graffiti and in a separate incident someone tarred and feathered a part of the pathway. As Jill Croteau reports, Airdrie Pride got the community together to drown out the hate.

Anti-LGBTQ vandalism has hit Airdrie, Alta., for the third time in two months. This time, the vandalism was painted on a farmer’s shed near the QEII Highway just south of the city without the owner’s permission. Local allies are stepping in to rally against hate speech. Adam Toy reports.
