Black History Month: Learning about the ancient African concept of ‘Sankofa’
On the final day of Black History Month, Global News spent time at Sheridan College for a Sankofa-inspired art workshop, learning the meaning of the concept. A new tribute to the idea will continue year-round when Yonge-Dundas Square is renamed ‘Sankofa Square.’ Melanie Zettler reports.

After three decades of sitting idle, the world’s largest iceberg is on the move again. At almost 4,000 square kilometres — which is roughly three times the size of New York City — the colossal Antarctic iceberg known as A23a could be (slowly) making its way into the Antarctic Circumpolar Current, towards the Southern Ocean.
