Science FUNweek
Science FUNdamentals Foundation of Alberta is a registered charity run entirely by students from the University of Alberta with the goal of providing accessible science education to all children in Edmonton. On top of its regular programming, where volunteers visit elementary schools monthly to do classroom experiments, Science FUNdamentals attracts approximately 2500 guests from across Edmonton and nearby rural areas to participate in Science FUNday. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Science FUNdamentals remains committed to the public health directives outlined by the University of Alberta and the Government of Alberta. This year Science FUNweek 2021 is an online event.
For the week of March 20-26, 2021, enjoy an exciting lineup of virtual tours featuring world-class labs and museums at the University of Alberta, pre-recorded science demonstrations, presentations, and more. Experience Science FUNweek, all from the comfort of your home or classroom!
