Global News is proud to support Kate Linder and Friends from The Young and The Restless after BREAST CANCER: Shine a Light Brunch.

Join Kate Linder of ‘The Young and The Restless’ and Candace Daniel, anchor of ‘Global News Morning’ for a delightful afternoon including a delicious brunch, Q&A, an autograph session with the cast, and live and silent auctions. Guests are welcome to mix and mingle with fan favourites from ‘The Young and The Restless’ including Christian Le Blanc, Sean Dominic, Connor Floyd, and Bryton James.

Funds raised from the event will go towards the ABC CARE KIT! ABC Thrive and other ABC programs. The programs help women after they’ve gotten through cancer treatment. after BREAST CANCER is there for breast cancer graduates who cannot afford to meet basic needs or purchase a proper mastectomy bra and breast prosthesis after mastectomy or lumpectomy surgery at NO OUT OF POCKET COST.

Kate Linder has portrayed Esther Valentine on The Young and the Restless for 43 years and counting and has hosted the Kate Linder & Friends events in Canada since 1998 to benefit Canadian charities. Bryton James has portrayed Devon Winters on The Young and the Restless and has won two Daytime Emmy Awards for his acting on the show in addition to an Image Award. He has co-hosted a Kate Linder & Friends event and has participated in many of them through the years. View image in full screen

Christian Le Blanc 

Christian Le Blanc portrays Michael Baldwin on The Young and the Restless and has won an Outstanding Lead Actor Daytime Emmy Award for his work on the show.
