Two people are dead and a woman is in the hospital after a crash in Pitt Meadows last night.
Witnesses say a woman in a Toyota was speeding east through the intersection at Harris Road and Lougheed Highway when she hit the median and overturned into the westbound lane.
Her car hit a Suzuki with two people inside. 21-year old John De Oliviera and 19-year old Rebecca Duyer died instantly, according to News 1130. The 23-year old driver of the Toyota is in the hospital and is under investigation.
The highway was closed until just after 6 a.m.
