SASKATOON – The family of a missing mother of two says police have confirmed human remains found Wednesday were those of their loved one, Jodi Roberts.
The 24-year-old disappeared earlier this month in Sucker River, Sask. near La Ronge.
On Wednesday, a team of RCMP searchers found her body several kilometers south of the town.

“Absolutely devastating, I can’t express how I feel at the moment, it’s numbness,” said Jodi’s sister Jerilee Roberts-Collins.
“We kind of hoped we’d find her safe somewhere,” she added.
Jodi’s disappearance was deemed suspicious late last week.
Roberts-Collins said police weren’t giving them many details but did tell them they had someone in custody.
RCMP however won’t confirm that.
Roberts-Collins says her sister will be missed deeply.
“She was very loving, bubbly you know, always wanted to have fun,” she said.
The cause of death won’t be known until an autopsy is carried out on Monday.
