WINNIPEG – The Canada Border Services Agency has charged a man with importing anabolic steroids for the purpose of trafficking.

Jason Mark Eggleston, 37, is accused of five offences under the Customs Act, the Criminal Code and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The charges come after a lengthy investigation.

Eggleston is to appear in Winnipeg provincial court on Jan. 13.

According to his Facebook profile, Eggleston is a registered nurse at Winnipeg’s St. Boniface Hospital who owns X2X Clothing Canada, which lists its address on Henderson Highway in Winnipeg.
