REGINA – In anticipation of the biggest CFL game of the year, football fans from across the country have been celebrating at Grey Cup parties throughout the city this week. Perhaps, the most popular party destination, are the team parties at Evraz place.
The problem, though, is fans hoping to get into Riderville, or any other team party without a ticket, are out of luck.

“As of 2:30 p.m., we officially sold out of our allotment of 5,000 day passes. We had pre-sold 10,000 weekend passe, so right now we’re monitoring to make sure we have the capacity for everyone that has purchased a ticket,” said Neil Donnelly, executive director of teh Grey Cup festival.
This comes after the festival stopped selling passes around 7 p.m. yesterday evening, when they reached full capacity.
“We knew they would go quickly. We knew at some point we would not be able to accommodate everybody, so this isn’t a huge surprise for us,” said Donnelly.
