A man who lost control of his motorcycle while riding onto Crowchild Trail has died in hospital.
The 34-year-old was driving a 1998 Kawasaki motorcycle on the ramp from Shaganappi Trail to Crowchild Trail and police say he lost control.

Police say the motorcycle mounted the concrete island and he was thrown from the bike at high speed.
He hit a road sign on Crowchild Trail while the motorcycle continued to slide away from him.
He was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition and died several hours later.
Police believe excessive speed may have been a factor in the crash.
