GOLDEN, B.C. – Travellers can expect long delays after a mudslide closed a portion of the Trans-Canada Highway that slices through the Rocky Mountains.
The mudslide happened Tuesday morning just west of Golden near the B.C.-Alberta border, shutting down Highway 1.
Due to the size of the slide, there is no estimated time of reopening, although major delays are expected.
