BC RCMP’s Air 1 helicopter helped the Surrey Mounties make seven arrests in two separate incidents.
A video taken from the RCMP’s helicopter on November 13 at midnight shows a suspect from a restaurant robbery being tracked and caught smashing into another business where he allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of money. He fled the scene on foot and was later caught.

Earlier in the evening, Air 1 was used to locate a suspect vehicle involved in a robbery where the victim was stabbed and his cell phone stolen. Eventually six people were arrested in connection with that incident.
The suspects are all from Surrey and well-known to RCMP.
