UPDATED: Body of missing camper found in Cheticamp

HALIFAX – Police have found the body of a missing camper on Cheticamp Island, N.S. early Monday morning.

The RCMP say the man, 62, was from Sydney and had been reported missing late Sunday night. The body was recovered at 5:45 a.m.

Rescue crews searched overnight Sunday for the man, whose name has not been released.

Police are still investigating.
