A Health Canada investigation into Gort’s Gouda Cheese Farm in Salmon Arm is now closed.
There have been no new reported cases of e-coli since the end of September. There had been one new case — but that happened in late September before the contaminated products were recalled.

Altogether there were 28 cases of illness in the outbreak, including one death.
The outbreak originated from unpasteurized cheese products manufactured at Gort’s.
