A section of Highway 97 in the North Okanagan has been reopened to traffic after being closed earlier in the day due to a multi-vehicle incident that closed both lanes.
The closure happened north of Vernon, just west of O’Keefe Ranch, between St. Annes Road and Irish Creek Road.

According to Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, two commercial trucks collided, with three other vehicles being impacted.
Police added that four people suffered minor injuries, and that an investigation is underway.
During the closure, a detour was in effect via Grandview Flats Road and St. Annes Road.
