Warman, Sask. welcoming two new schools

WARMAN, Sask. – Education officials joined students and teachers Friday to celebrate the grand opening of Warman Community Middle School.

The new school cost just over $29 million.

“Warman is one of Saskatchewan’s fastest growing communities and we recognize that more school infrastructure is required to meet the needs of the students, their families and the community,” said Education Minister Don Morgan.

Around 525 students are currently enrolled in classes.

The Saskatchewan government announced that one of nine new joint-use schools coming to the province will be built in Warman.
