The Adventures of the Phantom Tollbooth

SASKATOON – The Phantom Tollbooth is a journey for the entire family, following a bored seven-year-old boy named Milo on his adventure through the Land of Wisdom.

The play is produced by the Newman Players based on the book by Norton Juster and consists of 15 actors and five crew members, including students from the University of Saskatchewan along with alumni.

This is director’s Amanda Gieni first production, something she has been working hard on since September.

“It’s been crazy to pilot it all but it’s been a great experience.”

While the play is geared towards children, adults will also get a kick out of the production which teaches a few life lessons including never taking life for granted.

To follow along Milo’s journey you can purchase tickets at St. Thomas More College or at Picatic.
