MONTREAL- Quebec’s Ministry of Transportation is advising that the Galipeault Bridge will be closed in both directions overnight from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. to allow for repairs to the bridge.
A detour will be taking drivers travelling east north along Hwy. 540, east along Hwy. 40 and then St. Charles Blvd. south to Hwy. 20. Drivers could also take Anciens-Combattants Blvd. to get to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue.
Drivers travelling west will be directed to take exit 39 – Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue/Anciens-Combattants Blvd., then travel north along Ancien-Combattants Blvd, West along Hwy. 40 and south on Hwy. 540 to get back to Hwy. 20.
The bridge repairs require good weather. Depending on weather, the closures may be delayed.
