Getting ready to set a Guinness World Record. Global News

It’s the right time of year to set a record like this one.

Halloween is tomorrow, but on Wednesday one man set a Guinness World Record for lifting the most weight from two fish hooks plunged through his cheeks.

Sweet Pepper Klopek and his brother Burnaby Q. Orbax are both performance artists, and have a show at Fright Nights every year.

The duo are no strangers to Guinness World Records. Klopek was the first in history to be tattooed on a running roller coaster and Orbax set the record for towing a truck with two shark hooks lodged in the skin of his back.

On Wednesday, Klopek set a new record for lifting a 12-pound sledgehammer by two fish hooks in his face. The previous record was 10 seconds.
