Winnipeg firefighters battle Sherbrook Street blaze Wednesday morning

Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Services responded to a three-storey, multi-family residence in the 100 block of Sherbrook Street at approximately 6:23 a.m. Wednesday morning. Searchlights from crews were visible inside the building on the second and third floors while they fought the blaze from within the home. Everyone evacuated the building safely, no injuries were reported and no damage estimates are presently available – Nov 16, 2022

A fire on Sherbrook Street led to a temporary road closure Wednesday morning.

Just after 6 a.m., fire crews were battling a blaze both inside and outside a home on Sherbrook, between Westminster Street and Sara Avenue.

Everyone in the building was able to escape safely, and no injuries were reported, the city said.
