RCMP are investigating if alcohol was potentially a factor in a fatal crash on Highway 2A near Wetaskiwin on Tuesday.
A southbound vehicle crashed head-on into a pickup truck when it crossed over into the northbound lane around 9 p.m.

The vehicle then smashed into an oncoming van before coming to a rest near Township road 472.
The driver of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other drivers involved were rushed to hospital with unknown injuries.
RCMP have not yet released the name of the victim.
