UPDATE: Kelowna airport reporting four cancellations Tuesday because of the heavy fog.
“The cancellations happened between 7 a.m. and 10 a. m. We expect no further issues today except minor delays as a ripple effect,” says Kelowna airport spokesperson, Jenelle Hynes.
“The airlines did a great job rebooking people. From my understanding most will get out today with a few compensated for an overnight and out tomorrow.”
KELOWNA — You will want to check the Kelowna airport’s website if you have a flight coming in or departing from the airport today.
The fog has created a number of delays and at least one cancellation of a departing Westjet flight to Edmonton.
Fog is also causing problems at the Kamloops airport, causing several cancellations.
