CALGARY – A 57-year-old Arizona man is facing charges after allegedly attempting to smuggle prohibited weapons across the border.
Glen Winningham Fearn was trying to cross into Canada at the Coutts border crossing on October 11th when agents found a series of weapons.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) seized one blowgun, one push dagger, one can of pepper spay and 10 overcapacity magazines.
They have charged Fearn with nine criminal charges; five counts under the Customs Act and four counts under the Criminal Code.
He is scheduled to appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court on November 19th, 2013.
