Several homes were evacuated this morning after a Natural gas leak in the 29 hundred block of 14th avenue.
The leak happened shortly after 7 o’clock this morning when city crews struck a gas line while cutting out a section of the sidewalk.
Police and fire were on scene throughout the day, blocking off traffic, as crews worked to repair the damaged line.
SaskEnergy says the evacuation was taken as a precautionary measure.
