The product is sold in 1.6-kilogram packages with a best-before date of June 1, 2014.

The agency says there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the product and that it`s monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.

It’s the fifth recall of a beef product this month over possible E. coli contamination.
