Residents of McBride have cast their votes in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.
Global News is projecting that incumbent Gene Runtz has been re-elected as the community’s mayor, with more than 50 per cent of the vote.
Projected to win seats on council are incumbent Diane Smith, Joe Kolida, Peter Caputo and Glen Frear.
In the 2018 election, Runtz had more 45 per cent of the vote.
