Twenty thousand students from around B.C. are at Rogers arena this afternoon for this year’s We Day celebration.

The event is meant to inspire young people to lead through service, both locally and around the world.

This year’s event features a number of well known speakers including former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, humanitarian crusader Martin Luther King III, retired Canadian general Romeo Dallaire as well as musical guests Hedley and Avril Lavigne.
