Fifty-nine-year-old Erica Schmidt went missing more than a week ago, and now Abbotsford police are releasing a surveillance video they hope will help to solve her disappearance.

Abbotsford police has obtained a security video that captures Erica walking northbound in the 2400 block of McCallum Road at 3:15 pm on Saturday, October 5, the day she was reported missing.

Erica likely left the family home on Timberlane Drive sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on October 5. It is believed that she walked away from the residence.

In the video, she was wearing a light blue jacket, a long dark skirt, flat shoes and carrying a large black purse.
