MONTREAL – Montreal bus and métro users are getting discounts on the Bixi bike-sharing service.
The Société de transport de Montréal and the Public Bike System Company, the private firm that runs Bixi, announced on Monday that:
The Bixi service features 5,000 bikes at 400 self-serve rental stations in eight boroughs. Among the stations are 12 near the following métro stations: Champ-de-Mars, Berri-UQAM, Saint-Laurent, Lucien-L’Allier, Beaudry, Papineau, Frontenac, Mont-Royal, Laurier, Outremont, Rosemont and Jean-Talon.
