Police believe wanted sex offender has left Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE- Police say that they no longer believe that a wanted sex offender is in Lethbridge.

48-year-old Michael Sean Stanley is considered to be a high-risk, violent sexual offender, and remains at large. He has ties to southern Alberta, and on Monday his purple Chevrolet Blazer was found in Lethbridge.

After a thorough investigation, police say they don’t believe he is in Lethbridge and say it is unlikely that he will return. However, residents are asked to remain aware of the situation.

Stanley is described as Métis, 5’9″, 190 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
