Police appeal for information about Marda Loop bank robbery

CALGARY- Police are asking for helping tracking down the man responsible for a bank robbery in Marda Loop.

Just after noon on Wednesday, a masked man brandishing a knife demanded money from the Alberta Treasury Branch in the 2100 block of 34 Ave. S.W.

He was given money, before fleeing on foot towards the community of Garrison Woods.

The suspect is described as white, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, 6’ tall and 170 to 200 pounds with a medium build. He was wearing a dark hoodie, black mask, jeans and runners.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
