A special ceremony was held in Kelowna Wednesday to present both men with the Bomber Commander Bar.

“It is a great privilege to present the Bomber Command Bar to Mr. Corrigan and to have the honour of acknowledging the courage and bravery of Mr. Corrigan and his fellow pilots in defending our country,” said MP Ron Cannan.

“John and Sandy, we can never thank you enough for what you have done and I am proud to stand here with you, your families and friends to share this special recognition with you.”
