TORONTO – Conor P. Fudge got his just desserts after Iowa police cold-handedly arrested the former Cold Stone Creamery employee for allegedly stealing over $500 in cash and frozen goodness.

Iowa City Police said Fudge, 25, was seen on security footage entering the ice cream shop after hours on Sept. 11 and 12 and taking money from a safe, Des Moines Register reports.

Security footage also showed Fudge removing cakes and ice cream containers from the store.

Police said Fudge, who hasn’t worked at the ice cream parlour since Aug. 27, allegedly used an unauthorized key to enter the store.

Fudge faces a number of charges.
