Cher announces tour, shows in 8 Canadian cities

TORONTO — Eight years after her Farewell Tour, Cher is going back on the road — and she’s coming to Canada.

The 67-year-old singer announced Monday her Dressed To Kill Tour will kick off March 22 in Phoenix and end July 9 in Anaheim.

In between are stops in eight Canadian cities.

Cher will play Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on April 7, Montreal’s Bell Centre on April 25, Ottawa’s Canadian Tire Centre on April 26, Winnipeg’s MTS Centre on June 20, Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre on June 21, Edmonton’s Rexall Place on June 23, Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome on June 25 and Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on June 27.

The tour is in support of Cher’s new album, Closer to the Truth.
