After 15 years in the CFL, Saskatchewan Roughrider defensive back Eddie Davis is calling it a career.
The 37-year old played in 236 CFL games where he had 801 defensive tackles, 34 interceptions and 16 quarterback sacks. Davis started his career in 1995 with the expansion Birmingham Barracudas. The next year he was selected in the 1996 U.S. dispersal draft by the Calgary Stampeders. He stayed in Calgary until he signed in 2001 with the Riders.
Davis was named a CFL All-Star on three occasions and West Division All-Star five times. He also won Grey Cups in 1998 with the Stampeders and in 2007 with the Riders.
