Edmonton police are investigating a crash involving two of their own cruisers Sunday morning.
According to police, just before 7 a.m., officers were walking to a home to attend a call when a BMW travelling northbound on 97 Street stuck the first parked police vehicle, pushing it forward and causing it to collide with a second parked police cruiser.

The area near 108 Avenue and 97 street was closed for several hours.
No officers were injured; however, police said the male driver of the BMW had minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Charges related to impaired driving are pending against the driver.
