The trial for a former Taber man facing sexual assault charges continued in a Lethbridge court room today.
Jorden Van Voorthuizen is facing two charges of sexual assault after two men came forward in 2010 with accusations of abuse when they were children.
The two men say when they were young boys, Van Voorthuizen sexually abused them between 1995 and 2001.
The men remained silent for ten years before coming forward with the alleged abuse.

Van Voorthuizen was living in Greece at the time, and was extradited back to Canada to face the charges.
In court on Wednesday the defence council for Van Voorthuizen alleged the former southern Alberta man was sexually molested by a family member and not the accused.
The defence continued to say the victims, along with their family would benefit financially from a conviction.
The crown continues to maintain the accused was responsible for alleged abuse.
A witness who took the stand Tuesday simply said “not possible” in response to the suggestion he was assaulted by someone other than the accused.
One man testified he had been abused “numerous” times over a period of four years.
Both men now live in Ontario but can’t be identified under a publication ban.
They decided to come forward with the allegations for fear the accused would assault other children.
Jorden Van Voorthuizen is expected to take the stand on Thursday followed by closing arguments.
