TORONTO – Porter Airlines says service has resumed after a network outage that caused dozens of flight delays and cancellations.
The outage affected the airline’s website and call centre Tuesday evening, as well as check-in capabilities.
Some 40 departures and arrivals were either cancelled or delayed.
Porter tweeted overnight that its services were coming back online slowly and the airline isn’t expecting much of a disruption this morning.
Officials at Pearson International Airport say flights at that airport have not been affected.
Speaking with Global News, Brad Cicero, Porter’s director of communications & public affairs says that the problem lies with Navitaire, an airline outsourcing service owned by management consulting firm Accenture.
Porter Airline’s customer service can be reached at 1 (888) 619-8622.
