TORONTO – Police continue to investigate a serious overnight collision in west-end Toronto.
Steeles Avenue was closed for several hours in both directions at Bathurst after a man in his late 20s was hit while crossing the road around 1:30 a.m.

He was unconscious when paramedics arrived on scene and was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries.
The intersection reopened to traffic just after 6 a.m.
