Chicken Souvlaki

Chicken Souvlaki with Tsatsiki sauce

Ingredients

1 Chicken breast-boneless, skinless, cut into small bite size

1 tbsp Lemon juice

2 tbsp Olive oil

1 tsp Dried oregano

1 Garlic clove-pressed

Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Wooden or metal skewers-if using wooden, make sure to soak them in water before skewering chicken.

In a bowl add all the ingredients until the chicken is fully coated with the ingredients. Cover and leave in the refrigerator from 30 minutes to 3 hours.

Heat the grill on medium to high for few minutes. Once the grill is hot, turn it to medium. Skewer the chicken pieces and grill them about 10 to 12 minutes, turning regularly.

Tsatsiki Sauce

Ingredients

¼ cup Grated cucumber

1 cup Yogurt

1 tbsp Olive oil

1 tsp Lemon juice

½ tsp Oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

In a bowl mix all the ingredients until fully mixed. Chill before serving.
