Although he looked to fashion’s recent past for inspiration his execution is futuristic – collaborating with fellow Canadian artist Julia Dault to create original textiles.
This season also sees Laing broadening his brand with a foray into accessory design, taking the next step in furthering his Cowan Ave-based empire.
