Several high-end sports cars provided some expensive eye candy for drivers in Burnaby after being pulled over by Mounties a day before the Luxury Supercar Weekend kicks off.
The cars were stopped by Burnaby RCMP just before 4 p.m. on Highway 1 west of Gaglardi Way.

It’s not known why the five cars, including Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris, were stopped by police.
Supercar enthusiasts also spotted other luxury vehicles around the Lower Mainland and posted pictures on social media.
The Luxury Supercar Weekend runs Saturday and Sunday at VanDusen Gardens.
