Both civic pools were scheduled to close on Friday.

This is especially good news for Riversdale Pool since it had a late start due to basin drainage repairs that delayed the start of its season in June by ten days.

From Monday to Friday, Riversdale Pool hours are 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. while George Ward Pool is open 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. On the weekend pools operate from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Admission at Mayfair Pool, George Ward and Riversdale pools is free on Friday, August 30th.
