A 41-year-old Saltspring man has died after being struck by a falling tree on Aug. 26 near the town of Lake Cowichan, B.C.

The man, who was employed as a faller by Hancock Forest Management, sustained fatal injuries.
The Lake Cowichan RCMP, the B.C. Coroners Service and Work Safe B.C. are continuing their investigations.
The man’s name has not been released.
