York Regional Police say a 92-year-old man has died following a fire at a home in Vaughan on Wednesday.
Crews responded to a residential fire on James Street, near Kipling and Woodbridge avenues, at about 11:56 a.m.
Police said crews arrived on scene and found an elderly man inside the home. He was transported to hospital in critical condition where he later died of his injuries.

An elderly woman who also lives in the home was not injured. However, police would not confirm is she was in the house at the time of the fire.
