Officers were initially called by a person who reported someone trying to break down the door of their home in the 1400-block of Chartwell Drive late Saturday night.

Police say they set up a containment area and located a suspect vehicle, which then fled the scene at a high rate of speed, at one point, driving the wrong way on Hwy. 1 to avoid a roadblock.

The Police Air Services helicopter, Air 1, tracked the vehicle across the Lions Gate Bridge and into Stanley Park, where the suspects fled on foot.

Vancouver police officers found the suspect vehicle, but not the suspects, who remain at large.
