Poll: Should Portage and Main be open to pedestrian traffic?

WINNIPEG — The intersection of Portage Avenue and Main Street has had barricades blocking pedestrians from crossing the roads since the 1970s.

Many have called for the removal of the barricades so pedestrians are again welcome to cross Winnipeg’s famous intersection.
